Sahara Showcase 2015

Last month we held our annual Sahara Showcase at the beautiful Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire. For the first time ever, on the final day we opened up the invitation to end users and new business, giving a new group of people the chance to experience Sahara's growing range of products first hand.

The Exhibition

The exhibition ran over two days, the 15th and 16th of October, with the main hall featuring stands from B-Tech, Casio, Hitachi, NEC, Neets, Panasonic, Sedao, TVONE, Vivitek and wePresent.

B-Tech used the Sahara showcase to launch our new System X range of products. Teaming up with Sedao, we showed how our digital signage solutions integrate together to create perfectly seamless multiscreen displays. Our BT8371-2x2 video wall trolley & modular rail system certainly highlighted the ease of install which end users will benefit from by using System X.
“The showcase was a well-attended & well organised event, with a structure designed to benefit all. B-Tech are certainly looking forward to the next one.”

Casio exhibited the XJ-V1 entry level lamp free projector at the show and pushed their current promotion of £50 trade in and £25 reseller cashback throughout the show. We also showed our XJ-UT310WN Ultra Short Throw projector which offers all the benefits of Casio in an UST chassis.

NEC Display Solutions showcased innovation in laser light source technology, bringing its expertise in Digital Cinema technology to a wider professional market with the new P502HL projector. With 5,000 ANSI lumens and no lamp replacement necessary, maintenance is not required and longevity is assured, delivering compelling benefits and a vastly reduced Total Cost of Ownership. The new laser projector was accompanied by NEC’s new UM352Wi ultra-short-throw projector with Multi-pen interactivity. “The event was a great success and gave us many opportunities to network, explore new business opportunities and we even found time for some fun.”

Neets “Great event from start to finish. Received excellent feedback from the dealer/integrators whom we spoke with”.

Sedaolive.com, a flexible cloud based digital signage solution providing users with remote login, easy to use functionality and the ability to display to one or one million screens anywhere around the world. SedaoLive Pico, the markets smallest and most economical media player which connects directly to the display screen. With its small size yet big features, the SL Pico is discreet and functional. SedaoLive digital Menu Boards, the first off the shelf cloud delivered menu board solution to create dynamic four (4) screen menu boards at an affordable entry level price. “As a Sahara partner, Sedao were delighted to have the opportunity to launch their new digital signage cloud solution at this specialist well targeted event”

TvONE were demonstrating the CORIOmaster Video Wall Processor showing multiple PiPs across a 1x3 portrait Videowall and source and PiP transitions. We were also showing DVI/HDMI video over 300m of CAT5/6 cable using our Magenta Multiview II DVI/HDMI Transmitters and Receivers.
“This was our first time exhibiting and I thought it was a great event – great speakers, great venue, Excellent Sahara Team, great networking opportunity, Great entertainment and quality attendees.”

wePresent 2000 “It was a good event with interested clients and very friendly.”

For the first time we had a dedicated Clevertouch, Software and Apps Zone in the exhibition, with all models of Clevertouch on show, along with software partners DisplayNote and NUITEQ (Snowflake). Clevertouch Plus now includes the Cleverstore, and we had representatives from our most popular app developers - Daydream Education and Revision Buddies.
